The Presbytery organized a Preaching Station in 2004 in the northeastern suburbs of Atlanta. Rev. Warren E. Gardner was appointed the residential supply for the pulpit. When the mission was organized as a Congregation in 2006, Rev. Gardner was elected the minister. The Congregation is known locally as Free Church Atlanta. In 2008 the services were moved to Tucker, on the east side of Atlanta, and just off Interstate 285, the Perimeter around Atlanta.
